Toilet Duties 27/11/97
Today I'm working from home. The gardener has just emptied the dustbin that I have been throwing my scrap paper into. "Please master" he asked, pulling a particularly thick draft that I had discarded, "have you finished with this?" "Ummmm, yes Paul" I replied, wondering what he wanted to do with this wad of paper which had been written on both sides. "What d'you want it for?" I enquired. He hesitated and said "for toilet duties!" Ho hum, recycle and recycle again. I suppose my old A4 paper is a better wipe than the de-husked maize cobs that are used when in season.....
